She was born Emilie Ullerup-Petersen on 27 October 1984 in Copenhagen, Denmark to father Ove Ullerup-Petersen, who held the title of Lord Chamberlain for the Danish Royal Family and mother Bodil Mørkøv Ullerup. She grew up along with her two siblings- sisters Caroline Ullerup, Simone Ullerup. Growing up in a diplomatic family, Emilie moved with her family every 4 years to new places.
Career and Education:
She graduated from high school Emilie Ullerup in 2003 and then moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. There, she joined the Vancouver Film School and graduated in 2005 after completing both the Acting Essentials and Acting for Film and Television programs.
Ullerup debuted her acting career from the role of Julia Brynn in 2006 episode of Battlestar Galactica. This was followed by main roles in TV series jPod (2008), Sanctuary (2008-2010), etc.
Also, she portrayed a recurring role in True Justice (2012), the main role in Arctic Air (2012-2014), Chesapeake Shores (2016-present).
